Bettendorf, Iowa. Very Good; Hardcover; Newman Press; 1954; First Edition. Translated from the french by a Religious of Carmel in Bettendorf, Iowa. This book is an ex-library book, from the Carmelite Monastery in Bettendorf, Iowa. Pocket on the backside of the front cover, inscription on the fep as well as a death date for a Rev. And a date that is May 20, 1934. Under the note about the translation they have written the nun's name in pencil, and there is also their stamp under the publishing on the title page. First edition, most likely first printing, and the Carmelite Nuns have the copyright. There is also a library stamp to the page edges and tops. Brown covered boards with gilt lettering to front and spine. Binding is still very strong and the pages are still clean. Great condition book straight from the library of the Nun's that held the copyright. ; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 259 p. .
