Collection of essays by Australian humorist Les Robinson; 1st edition in book form (the essays having appeared before in The Bulletin, Smith's Weekly, etc; introduction by Kenneth Slessor; orange boards with nice illustration of a pipe-smoking giraffe in a suit to front; lengthy inscription to front pastedown, former owner's name to front endpaper, heavy foxing to endpapers, prelims and text block, scattered foxing in text, o.w. Good throughout; boards rubbed and foxed, dampstain to lower half of spine and boards front and rear near spine.
