James Nisbet & Co. Ltd., 1910. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1910. No Edition Remarks. 260 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. Contains colour illustrated plates. Deckled text block edges. Gilt upper text block edge. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Moderate cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Former owner's stamp on half title page, with occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning and foxing to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Book has a pronounced forward lean and slight bow. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Liquid drops on front board.
