Fine. <p>"Regional disputes and contests between big and small states jeopardized the adoption of a national Constitution with enough power to do its job. Benjamin Franklin, by now 82 years old, was the catalyst who brought about a workable compromise, then capped it off with the following speech urging his fellow delegates to join ranks in signing the document. When the speech had ended, every member stepped forward, and the new United States Constitution was unanimously approved." -- From the Publisher's Note.
