It was published in 1900 when the British believed the war had finished, however it went on until 1902.A military study of the Boer War by Arthur Conan Doyle, with notes on the cause of quarrels, negotiations, and the various campaigns. This edition completed on the second anniversary of the declaration of war. Bound without the four maps to rear. With twelve leaves of publisher's advertisements. Arthur Conan Doyle is best known as the author of stories featuring his famous detective Sherlock Holmes. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, back strip darkened. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean. Very Good
