Original blue cloth boards with map of Canada and the upper United Stated on front board, gilt lettering on front board, title hand-lettered on spine. Moderate soiling to boards, contemporary ownership signature on front pastedown, all else very good. Includes testimony and communications from a number of pioneers, missionaries, scientists, and explorers on forestry, fisheries, climate, mineral resources, agricultural potential, etc. Peel 1719.
