Some of the distinguished authors represtented are: Sir Walter Raleigh, James Fenmore Cooper, Herman Melville, William Clark Russell, R.L. Stevenson, John Masefield, Victor Hugo, and Pierre Loti. Pictorial two-page spread illustrated endpapers by Paul Spener Johst. Several stories have tail piece illustrations by the same illustrator. Blue-green cloth boards.... blue title print to front board and spine. Well illustrated dust jacket. Name to ffep. Text and exterior edges of book show toning. Great sea story reading with stories selected by the anthologist of "Great Pirate Stories"... Hard Cover. Very Good/Good.
