1942 first edition hardback as pictured. Binding is firm. Green cloth boards with black and sliver stamping on spine are rubbed and lightly soiled with wear at head and tail of spine and corners. Corners gently bumped. Front hinge cracked. Previous owner's name on front endpaper. Rough cut text block is tanned. Text is lightly tanned but otherwise clean and unmarked. Includes 8 pages of b&w photographs and several other illustrations. Lacks dust jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s
