This is a nice condition, vintage copy of "GRIMM'S FAIRY TALES" - selected and illustrated by Elenore Abbott. 1944; Charles Scribner's Sons; New York. This edition is beautifully illustrated with nine full-page color plates by Abbott. Illustrated end papers. There are 38 tales in all, including classics such as The Frog Prince, Cinderella, Snow White, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Grethel, etc.
Condition:
Clean back cover; the lettering on the spine has faded just a bit; small, light smudge at the right edge of the front cover. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Nice interior - the pages are clean with only some pencil scribbling on the blank back-side of the illustrations before page 83. Small bookshop label affixed to the front end paper. Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition.
