He perfected the Old Hemlock line of English Setters, the descendants of which are much prized for their birding abilities. This is copy #73 of an edition of 1500, with an inscription signed and dated by Evans in year of publication at Old Hemlock--his estate in West Virginia.. Signed by Author.
