Front pastedown and Endpage is a two color foldout map. Monk Andrew Agioritis was a Professor of Byzantine Music. Mount Athos Monasteries, founded in the year 963, is one of the oldest in the world; it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Comprised of over 20 monasteries about two thousand monks live there today. Visitors are limited to men only; females either human or animals are forbidden, with the exception of cats whose redeeming quality is their love of mice. Pictorial board covers with original dust jacket adhered to the boards, front and back. ; 8vo .
