Doubleday Doran 1930. 258pp. Hardcover. Book Condition: Good. Jacket Condition: no jacket. First edition stated. Brown cloth-covered boards with yellow author/title on spine, title and horse-rider design on front, all clean and clear. Cover and corners are slightly bumped, spine a bit frayed at top/bottom. Paper is significantly tanned. Inside rear hinge is cracking but all pages and both covers are still tightly attached. Deckle front edge; there is a tiny (1/16th inch) hole of unknown origin on the edge of pages 93 thru 108. Arthur Caswell Parker (1881 - 1955) was a part-Seneca archaeologist and advocate for American Indians who in later life wrote a number of books for teenage boys incorporating aspects of his own dual-culture upbringing.
