New York 22: Franklin Watts. Inc. 1961. Hard Cover. Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. A Weekly Reader Children's Book Club Book. Collectible. Matt-finish coloured pictorial boards. Very light rubbing on the top & bottom of the spine and all 4 outside tips of corners. Top & bottom of spine, and top outside tips of corners slightly bumped. A 1/8" rubbed spot on front edge of spine. A story of Half-as-big, (a deer), and his 2 brothers who were twice his size. But when it came to facing a tiger they ran but Half-as-big used his brains to outwit the tiger 4 times. His brother's then respected him and renamed him, Twice-as-smart! Caldecott Award Winning author in 1947..
