Green pebble cloth hardcover with gilt stamped title on front cover and on spine. Cloth is chipped head and base of spine, on the corners and rear joint. Inscribed by the author to "George H. Rohe From the Author Sept 24, 1878" on the title page. Previous owner bookplate on the front paste down.
