Hard cover 8vo in russet cloth w/gold spine titles. Very Good w/light slant, 2 sentences in "Preface to this Edition" highlighted, else Fine and unmarked; in Very Good unclipped DJ w/ 1/2" tear top front and modestly chipped crown. A satirical essay filled with facts and details on both sides of the question of legal executions, e.g. it outlines "Chances of Errors Reduced to a Minimum". The jacket proclaims, "All very proper to be kept and read in every family".
