About This Item
NY: Harper & Brothers. 1st U.S. Thus . Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. Weirdly this book has the wrong contents information in place of the title page and contents page, calling itself volume c Dec 1899-May 1900, not correct, though it took me ages to puzzle out. Appearing here, Illustrations by Howard Pyle. Bret Harte's "An Esmerelda of Rocky Canyon." A story written and Illustrated by Frederic Remingtom,"The White Forest." Henry Cabot Lodge writing on the Spanish-American War. A host of other are represented, huge book. Gutter at front fully separated, library stamp last pastedown. Much scarring to exterior, 3/4 bound in leather which has begun to split notably and tons of abrasion present. This said, all text is present, not a bad candiate for restoration and a serviceable reader.
