About This Item
Book was opened briefly for photographs and to authenticate that it is a First Edition; the majority of the publisher's original issue cellophane still covering and protecting this edition. There is a touch of rubbing to the red linen fabric at the front corners; extremely minor and negligible. It is in Fine collectible condition.
These deluxe Bloomsbury editions were not sold in the US. First Editions/First Printings of these editions have become sought after collector's pieces.
Synopsis
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth book in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The story follows Harry, who has been ostracized by the wizarding world after reporting the return of the evil Lord Voldemort. As Harry begins his fifth year at Hogwarts, he forms a secret organization, "Dumbledore's Army," to prepare for Voldemort's return. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Magic seeks to discredit Harry and his allies, causing tensions to rise. The book culminates in a battle at the Ministry, where Harry and his friends confront Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
