About This Item

Frankfurt am Main: Suhrkamp, 1994. hardcover. 173, [7] pages, boards. 9.5x6.75 inches; boards a tad foxed with the faintest soil on back baord, else in very good condition, with a handwritten note (in English) to Michael Roloff on a postcard (unmailed) inserted, signed "Eve (+Reto)," in one hand, dated July 2, 1997. Author's presentation inscription on half-title page to Roloff, unusual for its use of a cut-up piece of thick stationery; with a name seal stamped in red ink. Dense text in three parts on a variety of topics in the sciences and arts. Part two is broken up into sections with hexagram-like shapes inspired by the I Ching. The Swiss writer Hänny received the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 1994 for "Guai" and the Swiss Grand Prix Literature in 2022.
