The Princeton/Bollingen paperback edition first came out in 1972. This copy is a later (29th) printing. Illustrated wraps. B&W illustrations. Index. Good+. Some accident has left light creasing to the back cover and the last leaf has some crumble marks that have since been smoothed and flattened. Else Very Good with minor wear and no markings.
Synopsis
Campbell discusses his theory of the mythological structure of the journey of the archetypal hero found in world myths. This work was an inspiration behind Star Wars and 2001, as well as many other modern works.
