An uncommon first edition of Michael Wishart's controversial autobiography, which shows off his bohemian lifestyle. This work details encounters with the author's friends, including Lucian Freud, Francis Bacon, Jean Cocteau, Nancy Cunard and Cecil Beaton, amongst countless others. It caused somewhat of a scandal upon its released due to its depictions of his bohemian lifestyle.Written by painter Michael Wishart, an English figurative painter known for his bohemian lifestyle and eminent friends. The first edition of this uncommon work. With a loosely inserted typewritten review of the work by Frank Rudman.Illustrated with photographs throughout the work. In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely, with just some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, with just some slight general wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
