Small hardcover, 4.2 x 6.3 inches, has green cloth-covered boards with gold spine and cover lettering. Spine and front cover also have gilt stamped decorations and border. Front cover has black stamped outer border; back cover has blind-stamped border. Light green endpapers. Binding tight. Rear hinge partially cracked, but still strong. Spine has a mild lean. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with minor fraying at tips. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Covers have a few light smudges. Gilt has tarnished somewhat, and spine is darkened. Page edges lightly soiled and lightly foxed. Imprinted bookplate on front endpaper, with name S. G. Krogness. Paperclip impression on front free endpaper. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. 338 pages. No dust jacket. "Af Professor O. Olsson, Prof. i Theol ved den svenske Augustana-synode i Nordamerika. I norsk Udgave efter en Oversaettelse af S. M. Krogness, luthersk Pastor i Amerika". Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
