Penciled ownership signature of anthropologist David G. Mandelbaum (dated Delhi 1959) to front free endpaper (no other markings beyond original Indian bookseller's store stamp). A scarce work of Hindu sociology. Clean copy with a little wear to boards; the unclipped fragile dustwrapper has some chipping to extremities.
