Magnier Rell, of red morocco, the back with five compartments intricately tooled in gilt, the covers with triple blind tooled rules, all edges gilt, silk moire end papers, ribbon marker. Very Good, rear cover dampstained, light rubbing at edges, the pages clean and bright. Gift inscription front end page dated 1878. With 483 illustrations throughout the text by Chevignard, Paquet, and P. Sellier. A marvellous reference work on French costumes in lovely contemporary fine binding. . Second Edition. Morocco. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
