Paris: J. Correard, 1848. First volume dated 1848, second volume 1849. In French. Military history of the French Revolution up to and including the armistice in 1813. Three quarter calf leather with dual spine labels in red, slightly raised spine bands with gilt ruling, marbled edges and endpapers, 241 + 226 pages. Each volume has an armorial bookplate with The Prince Consort's Military Library printed below. Some external rubbing and shallow surface scratching to the leather, tiny chip to the rear spine head of volume I, good joints/hinges, sound text block, clean pages with scattered foxing, mainly quite light, no chips, tears or markings.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
