Paris, Imprimerie Nationale, 1888. 1st Edition . Hardcover. .. Tall quarto. Two parts in one volume. Pp. 70; 86. Two title-pages, French and Arabic, accordingly to each part. HARDCOVER, bound in contemporary three-quarter cloth, lettering-pieces to spine, parts from original printed wrappers laid-down, again French on one side, Arabic on the other; foxed, occasionally some underlining, few in red pencil. In a very good condition. ~ FIRST EDITION. The first part of the book, comprising of 70 pages, is written in French and consists of commentary, notes, and some translations. The second part, 80 pages, is the original text of the story, written in Arabic, with its own cover and title-page. Hermann Zotenberg (1836-1894), orientalist and Arabist. Very rare. G-3
