Includes material on the great age of exploration, the voyages of Columbus, the conquests of Mexico by Cortés and Peru by Pizarro. All text is in French. 379 pp. 8vo hardcover. Rebound in cloth and marbled paper boards. Applied spine label, lettered in gilt. Ribbon page marker. VG with light external wear, light to moderate intermittent foxing of the text. Old ink stamp of a French bookseller on the free endpaper (adhered to the front wrap.) Sound binding.
