About This Item

1671 Diocese of LYON 1ed Ecclesiastical History of France Montbrison La Mure

Jean Marie de La Mure was a relatively unknown 17th-century French theologian who, aside from his service at church in Lyon and Montbrison, left very little by which to be remembered. However, he did write an interesting ecclesiastical history of the Diocese of Lyon, the diocese by which Montbrison is mostly closely associated. This 1671 first edition was published in Lyon. A rare work!
