Jacob was a merchant, public official, scientist, and Parliamentarian.Bookplate to the front paste down of Volume I.One page of adverts to the rear of Volume II. In a quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, with some rubbing and light marks to the boards and spines. Faint ringmark to the rear board of Volume II. Light bumping to the spine and extremities, heavier to the extremities with a little loss. A small amount of loss of paper to the joints. Bookplate to the front paste down of Volume I. Notes to the rear endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots. The occasional pencil line to the margins. Very Good
