New York: Harper & Brothers, 1856. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition.. Copyright & publication date 1856. Red cloth with embossed front & rear board, gilt titles on spine. Front board and spine edge with a few flecks of light soil; boards remain clean and bright. Edges with some gentle rubbing and corners gently bumped. Spine with gilt lettering bright and attractive; ends gently bumped. Crown with a few tiny cuts in cloth. Binding sound. Previous owner's name on front end paper with a bit of light offsetting, else unmarked. Tissue guard with tiny hole and small spot of foxing. Contents remarkably bright and clean. Scarce in this condition. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall.
