De Wassermann. 303 pp, indexed and extensively illustrated with b/w and some color photographs of Japanese lacquerwork. Appendices include a list of dated objects from 764 to 1964, a glossary of Japanese descriptive terms, a list of Japanese artists, and a bibliography. A fine copy in original red cloth stamped in gilt. Dust jacket has mild rubbing/edgewear.
