About This Item
London: John Murray, 1821. Hardcover. Complete 2-volume set. Small 8vo. Full diamond-patterned calf, gilt. xxxi, 341pp; 282pp. Very good. Minor edgewear and rubbing, with spines rather darkened; recently, expertly, archivally rehinged, thus tight and attractive. Contemporary ownership signature on front flyleaf of each volume of one Tom Llewellyn Jones (unidentified, but warrants research). Handsome set of this early English edition of Washington Irving's great satire.
