London: Vernor and Hood, 1795. Leather. Good Only. 8.5" by 5.5". None. A first edition of this history of Poland. Complete with an engraved frontispiece and fold out map of Poland as called for. To which is prefixed an accurate account of the geography and government of that country and the customs and manners of its inhabitants. In a half calf binding. Externally, worn with rubbing and some bumping Joints cracked. Tidemarks to end papers and early pages. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with patches of foxing and spotting throughout, but generally clean. Folding map is generally clean with edgewear and foxing to edges. Good Only

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
