Screenwriter Robin Moore is best known for his 1969 nonfiction book, "The French Connection," filmed in 1971 by William Friedkin and starring Gene Hackman.
A fictionalized retelling of the life of Jimmy Hoffa, labor organizer and president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, who mysteriously disappeared in 1975. His disappearance was attributed by many to his connections to organized crime, although the mystery has never been fully resolved.
Set in New York.
Orange untitled wrappers. Title page present, dated March 15, 1983, noted as FINAL DRAFT, with credits for screenwriter Robin Moore. 159 leaves, with last page of text numbered 158. Xerographically duplicated, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, with a silver prong binding.
