The author is Lena Horne's daughter and her biography of her family and her mother provides an intimate and detailed look into her life and background. Original publisher's white paper covered boards with white cloth spine and gilt spine lettering. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The dust jacket light yellow spine is faded to white (the lettering is not faded) else it is in similarly nice condition with just one tiny chip at the bottom edge of the rear panel and a tiny closed tear at the front fold over flap and slight wear to the top edge of the jacket. This is NOT a Book Club Edition. ; Color & B&W Photos; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 262 pages .
