NY: Macmillan, 1942. Later printing in original tan buckram lettered in dark brown. Endpapers illustrated with examples of various brands. Inscribed presentation copy from the wife of author John P. Hale with card tipped to the half-title page that reads: "Dear -- John and I appreciate your finding us a place to sleep. We had never slept on a park bench but we thought our time had come. Thank you so much. Genevieve M. Hale." Brands from the two authors are burned into the bottom of the textblock. Very good in a fair dust jacket with large chip missing from the back panel.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair.
