First edition of this riveting lecture on writing styles given by Lang at the South Kensington Museum. The author provides amusing stylistic advice for writers, discussing tropes associated with literary forms such as the lullaby and ghost tale. Some slight wear to the spine, with a little loss to the head and tail, mostly to the tail. Light marks to the wraps. Rear hinge is slightly tender but firm. Light offsetting to the rear endpaper. Blind stamp to the rear endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with the occasional spot. Very Good
