About This Item
The copy belonging to actor Hermann Rockmann, with his signature on the front free endpaper, heading a list of other signatures and inscriptions. Taped onto the preface is a mimeographed sheet for a concert in Prague on December 9, 1944, listing the performers and the works performed. The signatures and inscriptions on the first two pages are those of the performers: Susi Nicoletti, Jurt Henneburg, Hanni Jacobs, Helga Marold, Egmont Koch, plus one undeciphered.
.
The half title bears a long inscription in German from Josef Pfitzner, the Primator-Stellverteter of occupied Prague. Pfitzner also wrote the preface.
