About This Item
[NY: 1876]?. A single sheet leaflet measuring 14 x 21.5 cm. Printed in red & black. Fine condition. Prints extracts from two letters dated May 1, 1875 and Jan. 29, 1876, from C.P. Huntington to [David Douty] Colton, relating to John King Luttrell and an upcoming election. This relates to political corruption in California; Huntington was one of the "Big Four" who financed and built the Central Pacific Railroad. Scarce, WorldCat records only two copies in institutions.
