Reader reviews for A Hybrid Tech. Based on Std. SRS Modules for S/W Requirements Prioti: A Hybrid Technique Based on Standard SRS Modules for Software Requirements Priotization

From the publisher

Requirement prioritization can be a major issue consideration in deciding which requirement or module may be taken as the first to implement. Mostly software are implemented and many analysis show that project failure is caused by poor requirement gathering, ambiguous information collection and so many reasons for project failure. But there is a change in new trends in software that now requirement analysis phase has much more importance than past, just some reforms are required to make it better or up to the mark. Requirement prioritization techniques presented in previous works like Analytical Hierarchy Process, Scaling techniques like Ranking, Numerical Assignment, Quantification Matrix; all have some major issues in consideration or implementation. Many of them do not provide any model to implement. Some of them are so easy and some involve complex mathematical solution. We propose a solution which is economical in all aspects and it shall be so easy to implement either. Modular approach based on software requirement specification document to prioritize requirements of a project as well as within the module, is main focus of work.
