London, UK: International Textbook Company, 1906. Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Several hundred pages. Illustrated with numerous charts, diagrams, formulae etc. Illustrated endpapers. Half bound in black leather over textured cloth boards, gilt titles on spine. All edges sprayed brick red. Tall and thick 8vo. A large and heavy volume which will require an additional charge for overseas delivery. Boards are rubbed at corners and all around the spine with the bottom quarter of the spine leather missing. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a small tear and some flat creasing to two leaves of the index, and some mild toning on prelims. Loosely laid in is a contemporary bookmark from the International Textbook Company, explaining how best to safely open a new book without damaging it. The Internationally Textbook Company produced, in the early years of the 20th century, a series of text books for students of international correspondence schools.
