Review Copy with review slip, 5x7 inch black and white photo (used for the dustjacket rear panel photo) and publisher's letter laid-in. Inscribed by Jones on the front free endpage. "For Bob & Alice Cromie The title story is one I like a lot Thanks James Jones." The book is bound upsidedown; otherwise, a touch of shelfwear and a tiny soil spot on the bottom edge; dustjacket with minor rubbing and shelfwear. Very Good condition in a Very Good dustjacket with an archival cover. The Cromie's were reviewers and writers and Bob Cromie was book editor for The Chicago Tribune and host of two TV and a radio program about books and writers.. Inscribed by Author. First Edition. Hardcovers. Poor/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Association Copy.
