About This Item

This is a first Readers Union (UK) edition of The Ides of March, which was first published in the US in 1948. It is by the American playwright and novelist Thornton Wilder (1897-1975) and is about the last days of the Roman Republic and the events leading up to the murder of Julius Caesar.

It's a very plain book. Red covers with Wilder's signature on the front and silver lettering on the spine. No dust jacket. No interior adornment. 198 pages.

There's a little mark on the cover. Other than that, it's in mint condition.
