Original First Edition. xxix, 326 pages, illustrated by numerous black and white plates, original dust jacket designed by Harry Garo, bibliography, index. Inscribed by author on the half title. Very good condition (protected in its original shipping box), hardcover brick colored cloth binding, title in gilt on spine against a black background, gilt mortar and pestle illustration on front cover.
