Two (2) Volumes. 19th-20th Century half-Morocco and cloth, later red spine labels. Faux marbled edges Fourth Edition, greatly enlarged and corrected. Trade issue. [Ancient Latin/Greek Classics] Vol. I: i-xiii; 552 pp.; frontis (facsimile of a leaf from the Book of Matthew) faces the first text page; hinges tender. Vol. II: 579 pp; Corrigienda; front board detached but complete. Edgewear to boards, most noticeable at corners. Bookplate to front pastedowns. Frontis, last preliminary leaves and first text leaf foxed. Otherwise very good two volume set. This edition is entirely rewritten and contains for the first time an account of the best editions of the Hebrew Bibles.
