New York: Random House, 1949. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Near Fine in a Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($3.00), lightly rubbed at the edges, small chip at the head of the spine, toned on the back panel. Black cloth with gilt and blue ink lettering and decorations, some rubbing. Square and firmly bound with a green top stain, clean internally. A Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone, being Faulkner's attempt at a murder novel with racial undertones.
