Maroon cloth hardcover with "Casson" imprinting. Pictorial dustjacket in mylar. Numerous tape repairs to jacket edges. Tears and soiling to dustjacket. Signed by Casson on half title.
Alfred Joseph Casson (1898 - 1992) joined the Group of Seven in 1926. He is best known for his depictions of landscapes, forests and farms in southern Ontario and for being the youngest member of the Group of Seven. Paul Duval is widely recognized as Canada's foremost art expert and critic.
