Later printing. 12mo; 229 [1]pp, [14pp] publisher's ads at rear; mustard colored cloth over board, brown pictorial to front with portrait onlay, gilt stamped spine; gift inscription to ffep dated 1897; wood-engraved frontispiece and facing half-title with tissue guard; light finger soiling to rear board, sunning of spine and light scuffing to edges; very good. Cover title identifies it as part of the Pilgrim Series for Boys, title page as part of the Rosa Abbott Stories. Rear publisher's ads for Lee and Shepard's Dollar Juveniles and Seventy-Five Cent Juveniles, Oliver Optic's books, Mayflower Series for Girls, Choice Books of Adventure, Patriotic Series for Boys and Girls, and a list of 25 Pilgrim Series for Boys, four by Rosa Abbott.
