There is some dulling noticeable around the edges, and some of the notepaper has faded slightly, as with age. Remains particularly well-preserved overall. Further scans, images etc. and additional bibliographical material available on request. ; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 0 pages; A collection of correspondence and related items. Contents: Promotional material relating to the publication of Farrell's Selected Essays in 1964 including a b/w portrait photo, bibliography, introduction by Professor Don M. Wolfe and a 2-page press review summary -- 10 letters (8 handwritten) by Farrell to author and academic, Arthur Knight -- 4 typed letters from Knight to Farrell on organising a meeting a Farrell lecture. Notes: The letters are dated between 1962-1969. Arthur Knight (Arthur Winfeld Knight [1937-2012]), author of Blue Skies Falling, The secret life of Jesse James, and a number of books about the Beat Generation. His novel, The Fires of Time (1961), is mentioned in one of the letters.
