Dallas, Texas [ca.1938]: Methodist Publishing House/Cokesbury Book Store. 3 1/2 " X 5. Separate printing, reprinted from the October, 1936 issue of Texas Outlook. This copy, a variant issue, not found in McVicker or Dykes. It was possibly printed for Texas Institute of Letters Awards which held its third meeting in Dallas in 1938 which took place in the auditorium of the Cokesbury Book Store. The Institute awarded Dobie their first award the following year for his book titled Apache Gold and Yaqui Silver. Staple bound in white printed wraps lettered in black, Scarce.
