Sampson, Low and Marston. Hardback. A very attractive set of small leather bound volume with gilt titles and gilt decorations to spines and blue ribbon bookmarks. 12mo or approx 170 by 115mm (6¾ by 4½ inches). The titles are: The Definite Object, Peregrine's Progress, The High Adventure, Our Admirable Betty, Martin Conisby's Vengeance, Black Bartlemy's Treasure, Gyfford Of Wear, Beltane The Smith, Sir John Dering, The Money Moon, The Honourable Mr Tawnish, The Amateur Gentleman, The Broad Highway, The Quest of Youth, The Loring Mystery, The Chronicles of The Imp, The Geste of Duke Jocelyn. No date but probably 1930s. Books are in very good condition only minor shelf wear to the leather. Martin Conisby's Vengeance has a slight lean and Beltane The Smith has a few tiny specks of paint to the front. Some of the ribbons are a little worn with some loss to the ends. The contents are clean, bright and free from markings or inscriptions. A very pretty set. Very good set . Hardback.
